Silane Coupling Agent

Silane coupling agent is to bridge inorganics and organics. It is used in various fields such as Plastic, Rubber, Coating, Adhesion, and Filler Dispersion. Dry Silane is a product implemented in solid type for easy use in areas such as Plastic, Rubber, Powder Coating, and others where normal liquid silane is difficult to use. It exists as a regular powder type and master Batch type. Dry Silane is manufactured with a structure containing liquid silane inside, using higher absorbent inert mineral as a carrier.

Organic metal coupling agents

Organic metal coupling agents based on titanium, zirconium or aluminum have shown a similar degree of compatibility in glass fibers compared to silane couplings, and much better in graphite or aramid fibers. Substances such as calcium carbonate and boron are rarely reactive to silicone coupling agents, while they are well compatible for organic metal coupling agents. The wetness of the filler was significantly improved by titanate and zirconate coupling agents, and the impact strength and chemical resistance of the final resin product were significantly improved. It also shows enhanced process flexibility when it comes to mixing with high-capacity filler.

Silane coupling agent

Silane coupling agent and titanate coupling agent are in liquid form at room temperature, making it difficult to use in plastics, rubber, adhesives, powder coatings and other non-liquid combinations. Liquid coupling agents must always be pre-treated, which adds to the process and is very inconvenient if the mixing facility is not properly equipped. There are also many difficulties in transportation, weight, feed and dispersion, and powder coupling agents can improve process efficiency by eliminating pretreatment and contamination. In addition to the products below, all of the above silane coupling agents and organic metal coupling agents are available in powder form.
